Sv Oakville Nursing Building is a healthcare development located in Hamilton, Ontario, encompassing multiple levels from the basement floor up through level ten and the penthouse. The project involves the construction of a multi-level facility designed to support comprehensive nursing and patient care.
Working in close conjunction with the primary BIM coordination team, we were responsible for delivering accurate electrical models across all phases of construction. We performed rigorous clash detection and resolution, which included the coordination of sleeve drawings and electrical risers against other mechanical, plumbing, and structural components. Identifying and addressing these spatial conflicts early significantly enhanced construction clarity and buildability.
Luttec's scope centered on the detailed BIM-based electrical modeling and coordination for the facility. Through precise BIM modeling of power and lighting systems, including complex conduit routing and panel placement, we ensured conflict-free installation and optimized spatial performance in alignment with the overarching project requirements.
Ongoing issue tracking and digital coordination were conducted using federated models, with all project data managed and shared through Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). This approach facilitated seamless collaboration, real-time updates, and continuous alignment with project stakeholders across all levels of the development.
