The Campus Energy Centre (CEC) is a new, $24 million state-of-the-art hot water boiler facility at UBC.
Located in the heart of UBC’s 1,000 acre campus, the facility became operational in the fall of 2015, and capable of meeting all UBC’s heating requirements.
BIM was extensively used to coordinate the heavy MEP component of the project including the base steel structure, duct routings, pipe, equipment and boiler tanks.
